With my session with Joe Bongiorno at Piano Haven Studio less than two weeks away, I have FINALLY finished composing the last piece of the TWO ALBUMS I plan to record there! That’s right: in less than a year, I have completed 13 new original pieces and 12 holiday arrangements, and I feel myself growing stronger as a composer and performer every day.
I still have a lot of hard work ahead of me; I need to proofread through all the sheet music get the scores corrected so I can dig in and practice and polish everything before I leave. And I will resume full-time teaching (56 students this year!) next Monday, August 6th. But I definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel – and I can hardly WAIT to get back to Sedona!
